INTERNSHIPS

ACCELERATED LEARNING

MORE HANDS ON TRAINING THAN EVER

The Advanced Orthogonal Institute’s Internship Program works with chiropractic colleges around the United States to provide top-of-the-line training in the Advanced Orthogonal technique.  For the last 30 years, students and doctors have been receiving the some of the best training possible in the upper cervical field, and now as we expand more aggressively, the training is coming closer to you.

The purpose of the internship is to completely immerse the intern in the Advanced Orthogonal Technique and Procedures.  The goal of this 10-12 week training program is to establish a doctor with a high level of proficiency in the Advanced Orthogonal work to ensure practice success.  Although it is preferred that the doctor has taken either the Advanced Orthogonal Fundamentals or Bootcamp, it is not required.

We believe that the highest form of training in this work is accomplished in a real-world training environment. The AOI internship provides you with one-on-one training with a Level 2 Certified Advanced Orthogonist to refine your skills.  Each office is run differently, but training at a minimum will include:

  • Technical training in all of the components of the Advanced Orthogonal techniques including:

    • Exam Procedures

    • X-ray Positioning

    • X-ray Analysis

    • Upper Cervical Biomechanics

    • Table Setup

    • Post X-ray Interpretation

  • One-on-One hands-on training with the doctor and patient.

  • Patient management training for long term care compliance.

  • PI case management for maximum healing.

  • Proper diagnosis for upper cervical care.

  • Communication strategies in patient education including:

    • Consultation

    • Examination

    • Report of Findings

    • Progressive education models throughout patient care

Depending on the office in which you train, there may be opportunities to learn some of the following:

  • Front Desk and Back Office procedures.

  • How to stimulate referrals from patient questions.

  • Public Speaking training from experienced presenters.

  • Modern marketing models for practice growth.

  • Insurance Training

  • Practice Management Overview

POST GRADUATE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

There are opportunities for a post-graduate AOI Internship, which may vary in length and with the material covered, depending on the availability of the doctor.  Ideally, we would hope that a doctor-in-training would complete a full 10-week training program.

CERTIFICATION OPPORTUNITY

Completion of the AOI Internship Program does make a student or doctor eligible for the Level 1 Certification.   See more details about the certification process by clicking here.
