Instructor Committee

The Instructor Committee ensures that all AOI seminars and training programs are delivered with the highest quality and consistency. This committee oversees instructor selection, monitors teaching performance, and manages the Train the Trainer program that prepares new instructors and preceptors. All AOI instructors are accountable to this committee for maintaining the standards and methods of the Advanced Orthogonal technique.

CURRICULUM Committee

The Curriculum Committee is responsible for keeping the Advanced Orthogonal curriculum current, accurate, and aligned with the latest developments in upper cervical care, neurology, and biomechanics. This committee reviews and updates all training materials—including presentations, manuals, and instructional videos—to ensure that what we teach reflects the best available evidence and clinical practices. The committee works closely with the Research Committee to integrate new findings into the curriculum.

SEMINAR Committee

The Seminar Committee plans, schedules, and coordinates all AOI training seminars and the Annual Conference. From selecting venues and managing logistics to ensuring continuing education approval, this committee is the engine behind every AOI training event. The committee works closely with the Instructor Committee to assign qualified instructors and with the Executive Director to manage budgets and contracts.

COLLEGE OUTREACH Committee

The College Outreach Committee builds and maintains relationships with chiropractic colleges to expose students to the Advanced Orthogonal technique early in their careers. Committee members organize campus visits, guest speaking opportunities, and connections with student technique clubs. The goal is to create a consistent AOI presence at target schools and open doors for future partnerships and elective course offerings. INTERNSHIP Committee

The Internship Committee oversees the AOI Internship Program, ensuring that preceptors provide high-quality, standardized training that prepares interns for certification and clinical practice. This committee approves preceptor applications, provides training materials and checklists, monitors intern progress, and serves as a liaison between preceptors and the Certification Committee. The internship pathway is now the preferred method for certification, making this committee's work essential to the future of Advanced Orthogonal.

CRTIFICATION Committee

The Certification Committee manages the certification process for Advanced Orthogonal doctors, ensuring that every certified practitioner meets rigorous standards of proficiency and clinical competence. This committee receives applications, assigns reviewers, administers examinations, and maintains comprehensive records of all certifications. The integrity and credibility of AOI certification depends on the meticulous work of this committee. Research Committee The Research Committee manages all research conducted through or sponsored by the Advanced Orthogonal Institute. Led by the Research Director, this committee coordinates internal research projects, partners with external institutions, and provides outcomes data to the Curriculum Committee to inform technique refinements. Research is essential to validating clinical outcomes and advancing the body of knowledge in upper cervical care.

Marketing Department The Marketing Department promotes the Advanced Orthogonal Institute, its training programs, and its certified doctors through strategic marketing, social media, advertising, and member communication. This department produces marketing materials, manages digital campaigns, and distributes a monthly newsletter to keep members informed and engaged. The Marketing Director works closely with the Executive Director to ensure that all outreach aligns with AOI's mission and priorities.
